In a tightly contested Championship game, the Brooklyn Technical Engineers narrowly defeated the Fort Hamilton Tigers 37–36 in the final moments. The morning showdown drew a passionate crowd as both teams showcased skill and determination in a game that will be remembered for its electrifying finish. Sal Media was present to document this thrilling match.

Fort Hamilton dominated much of the first half, displaying their trademark cohesion and offensive firepower. Quarterback Aidan Farley set the tone early, leading an efficient drive that ended with a touchdown while running back Harold Marshall III delivered an incredible 40-yard touchdown, solidifying the Tigers’ early lead. Their stellar defense also kept Brooklyn Tech’s offense at bay, leaving the Engineers trailing by halftime.

Brooklyn Tech, however, returned in the second half with a renewed strategy and an unyielding will to fight back. Quarterback Michael Jung led his team with precision and poise, connecting with running back Tristan Suarez for a jaw-dropping catch that energized the Engineers and chipped away at the Tigers’ lead. Their defensive adjustments also slowed Fort Hamilton’s momentum, setting up a nail-biting finish.

The final five minutes were a testament to Brooklyn Tech’s resilience. With Fort Hamilton leading by six, Park orchestrated a masterful drive culminating in a touchdown. A flawless extra point sealed their one-point victory, while their defense held strong against the Tigers’ last offensive push, securing their place in the next playoff round.

Though Brooklyn Tech emerged victorious, the Fort Hamilton Tigers deserve immense credit for their remarkable season. Their resilience, teamwork, and skill throughout the game pushed the Engineers to their limits. This narrow defeat does not overshadow the Tigers’ outstanding performance and ability to challenge one of the league’s strongest teams.

The game embodied the essence of high school football—passion, sportsmanship, and the spirit of competition. Both teams left an indelible mark on the championship, and fans were inspired by their determination and drive.

The cheerleader squads for both teams added incredible energy to the game, showcasing their school spirit and enthusiasm. The Fort Hamilton Tigers’ cheerleaders impressed the crowd with their synchronized routines and high-energy chants, while the Brooklyn Technical Engineers’ squad kept fans engaged with creative stunts and unwavering enthusiasm. Their dedication and passion amplified the playoff atmosphere, making the game a memorable experience for all in attendance.
